Software that must not fail. Now with AI.
We build software for sectors where regulation is part of everyday work: critical infrastructure, medical devices and healthcare. Today we turn this into AI products for the public sector, healthcare and business, developed and operated in Germany.
History
From 1998 to today.
The EU AI Act is not new territory for us but a familiar pattern: understand requirements early, implement them properly and make them verifiable. That is what we learned in critical infrastructure and healthcare, and it is how we work with AI today.

The beginning, as the internet took off
Starting out at 18 as a young computer scientist, in the middle of the dot-com era. Determined from the very first line of code to always use the latest technology.
- From computer scientist to entrepreneur
Working for large corporations
From IT consulting to management consulting for major energy companies. Consulting and development in SAP and mainframe environments, guiding clients through to ISO/IEC 27001 certification and developing digital medical devices for clients.
- 2018
Our first AI
First AI developments for energy suppliers: an AI customer service bot, pattern recognition with decision tree methods (random forests) and automatic sorting in ticket systems. Back then in a largely unregulated market.
- 2022
Healthcare
Software for pharmacies: more than 3,500 pharmacies are our customers.
- Today
A software company focused on AI
AI products for every organisation: Heimund, Nitavo and Hortmund, and for municipalities CiviPort and CiviHub. Project lead for the Smart Region AUF. Plus our Compliance Consult division for the safe use of AI.

Compliance Consult
A division of our own for AI compliance
In our Compliance Consult division we bring together our experience from regulated markets. It offers training such as the AI Driving Licence, as well as consulting and governance for the safe use of AI under the GDPR and the EU AI Act, both for our own products and for AI from other vendors. In projects, partners for geoinformation, urban planning and remote sensing complement our work.
